      Equipments

      The CDCQ has a UV cross-linking laboratory, unique in Canada. The CDCQ clients and partners have access among other things, to the following equipment:

       

      • Simultaneous spraying device that converts into an injection pump for resin transfer moulding (RTM)
      • Two-component injection pump for Epoxy RTM and low pressure urethane
      • Thermostatic bath 40°C -> 200°C
      • Convection oven 550°F (290°C)
      • Pyrolytic oven and 1/10000 g precision scale
      • Twin-reservoir vacuum pump
      • Lindberg/Blue convection oven
      • DSC photocalorimeter, able to monitor UV firing
      • TMA thermomechanical analyzer
      • Two INSTRON universal traction machines (Models 5584-150 kN and 5985-250 kN)
      • CEAST 9350 Impact/Drop Tower
      • 100 ton press with heating plateaus (1200 F) for compression molding.
